Relationships are the fuel for every team.

My mission is to weave together the fabric of people for a stronger community.

I help small to mid-size nonprofit leadership teams navigate strategic changes intentionally, effectively, and confidently through coaching engagements.

We Work With

Emerging Leadership Teams

Nonprofits looking to make an impact, regardless of scale, dream of having leadership/management teams that act and feel like a healthy, cohesive team.

Team Coaches & Team Leaders

Coaches and leaders who hold space for teams want to lead confidently and struggle less.

As an Executive Director of a small nonprofit organization on a mission to build connection with a new team post-Covid, I wanted to be sure that I worked with a coach and meeting facilitator who was experienced with team systems and would be able to manage any emerging conflict that might arise between group members. I deeply appreciated that Betsy had both of those qualities, and was able to facilitate a meeting that maintained an inclusive environment through development and delivery of a thoughtful agenda with activities that fostered fun and connection. Most importantly, Betsy skillfully identified ways to allow interpersonal conflict and organizational challenges to surface in the meeting without overshadowing an otherwise positive experience. This allowed us an experience that acknowledged each team member's unique experience, but also kept us moving in a positive, solution-oriented direction as a team, and left the team feeling positive and energized about working together.

“Betsy engaged everyone on my diverse board. She delivered a balanced agenda that not only addressed the what – the practical, substantive goals for our strategic plan, but also focused us on the how – how we as a board will successfully work together to achieve it.”

“Our team engaged Betsy at a complex inflection point in our strategic plan. Betsy moved nimbly through her roles as facilitator, consultant, and at times coach, to help us reach what we asked for: something big enough to dream about, but small enough for us to achieve. Since our engagement with Betsy, we’ve moved to executing our strategic plan and our community is responding powerfully. Our donors and school partners are investing and partnering in our plans, our volunteer community members and allied organizations are showing up to help deliver the vision of the plan, and most importantly, we have never seen better promise for transformative impact for the young people we serve.”

“Betsy approached our project with patience, guidance, and wisdom that I greatly appreciate. She took time to check in with the team, help us set a clear direction for the future, and as an end result the team is super happy and we are making steady progress on our goals.”

“We had one day to bring together more than a dozen people with a stake in the project not only to come to a consensus on key aspects of a shared data system but also to build enough relationship strength to help key team members continue the work. Betsy coached and facilitated us through building the necessary foundation, allowing some of the challenging aspects to surface so we could handle them, and giving us a clear path to move ahead.”
